What's the deal with X2?
Probably one of the more frustrating workout routines available. Everything is about balance and strength. It's all about using unstable surfaces. So, stability balls and medicine balls are used. It gets frustrating, but it's awesome when you can do them. My balance is pretty incredible now.

Give ole Insanity a shot. I want someone to bitch with.
45 minutes of pure death absolutely scares me. I get that in Plyocide, and believe me I don't know if I can handle that every single day for 60 days.

So you need one of these for X2?

I gotcha. I'm open to any suggestions after Insanity is over (Saturday is my last day). I would like to incorporate some weights back into my workout.

The only drawback to X2 is a few things:
1. Equipment. You need it. A rumble roller for your body, a stability ball, weights/bands, medicine balls. You want to make the most out of it, you need this stuff.
2. LOTS of stretching. Each video is an hour or so, but the warmups are like 8-10 minutes each.
3. Recovery Days. They take on a whole new meaning. Doing the Recovery DVD is crucial. If you don't, you increase your chance of injury.

Looks like you would need a gym membership for those workouts.

Yeeeaahh. I'll probably go with either P90x or x3. Don't feel like buying a bunch of stuff. That's the great thing about Insanity. You literally don't need any equipment.

I used to do those types of push ups all the time. I have no idea if I could do them anymore. It would be really impossible if the medicine ball were, in fact, another, smaller swiss ball.

It's understandable. It wasn't cheap. I bought the ultimate pack, which came with everything, and I don't even want to remember how much I spent.
X3 sounds pretty awesome.

This is a nonsensical statement, Sabi. Come on, bro.

I will get another gym membership in the future but I just wasn't using my Y membership all that much. I hate having to drive to the gym.
well... yeah.

hmm... you could do quite a bit of those exercises with what you have, but you'd have to augment the routine to fit your equipment. I hear you on the gym membership thing. It gets fricking expensive, too. I somehow lucked into getting a membership at LA Fitness for about a dollar a day.
