Laughable you think fasting is detox, cleansing and autophagy more than a simple caloric deficit

In other words you are following and listening to fricking hacks and any benefits you are getting is simply because it’s an effective way to control calories. I say that as someone who uses intermittent fasting to control caloric intake

Do you think these drugs are new? They have been out for over a decade so yes we do know what they do long term. What a dumbass comment

It’s approved for weight loss idiot and was first developed for its effects on the brain, should we not use it for diabetes because it wasn’t originally for that?

Also no it doesn’t burn more muscle than fat. It’s anti catabolic and have the long term studies to prove it. The muscle loss comes from too steep of a deficit, lack of protein and no resistance training. We have studies that prove in combo with those you will lose less muscle than the extract same macros, same routine and placebo.

People have loose skin because it’s a lot of older people using this that have low igf levels and have stretched the skin beyond its elastic ability. That happens medicine or no medicine and it’s why I highly suggest the medicine be used in combination with growth hormone peptides.

I don’t understand why so many lie about it after they lose a noticeable amount of weight quickly. Why are they embarrassed to say they are on ozempic. Is it because they feel like it’s the easy way? And shows lack of discipline.
Stop lying about it.

If someone is a working American, pays their insurance premiums and they cover it, who the frick are you to say if they should or should not get it?

With that being said, I think these drugs will change insurance plans in the future because very few actually cover them at this point. I’ve heard talk of having tiered plans or something of that nature. Time will tell.

Semaglutides were approved for medical use in 2017 and approved for weight loss in 2023.

So pretty new and really new for every house wife to be taking to lose 10 pounds.

Like I said, go take it, couldn’t care less but don’t act like you know what the long term effects are of a drug that the manufacturer says take forever. Enjoy. Good luck.

The women I know using it are not obese but rather vain, middle aged women anxiously hanging onto youth. They get injections in their face, implants all over and use ozempic

Ozempic is a great drug but getting it paid for is a royal pain in the arse.

If it keeps fat fricks from oozing into your seat on airplanes I’m all for it. If their intestines go to shite that’s their problem.

Americans "we need affordable healthcare and f big pharma"

Also americans "oh, there's a pill for that??? will you write me a script for a diabetic medication so I can lose weight rather than changing my lifestyle so my insurance will cover it?"

That guy is not an ex pharma executive. He actually has no experience whatsoever in any position of authority at a pharmaceutical company.

Find a compounding pharmacy, they'll sell it $200-400 for a month's supply.
Or go to Los Algodones in Mexico, for that peice it's a 3 month's supply. Just know how to spot fakes.
