Says the guy who thinks peaceful protestors inside the capital were literally going to install a new form of government.

Yes...we're the crazy ones.

like Kenosha?

Kenosha has a population of 100k and is more of a Chicago suburb than your typical Wisconsin town.

Why? So they they can vote for the same policies in their new location? Philly overwhelmingly voted for this—let them stay and deal with it. Frick them.

I'm going to guess the store owners didn't vote for this.

Next to CERN and NASA that’s the most future scientists and engineers I’ve seen working together. Heart warming really.

Good lord, stop reading so much into it. It's really simple. If someone broke into your office and was taking pictures on your desk, how would you feel about it? I'm making no value judgement on anything that happened, I'm just saying look at it from their point of view and it's really easy to understand why they went all out over the incident.

Now go outside and breathe for a minute.

They likely voted for the people who encourage it to happen through their rhetoric and race baiting, or allow it to continue through refusing to prosecute it to the fullest extent of the law.

So while there wasn't a referendum on the ballot "Should there be widespread looting", they voted for the people who are responsible for the above.

As Thomas Jefferson said, "'The government you elect is the government you deserve."

The next thing they can do is vote with their feet. Take their business, their jobs, and their tax revenue and leave. Let these cities and states become what the progressive elite want them to become.

ETA: I voted with my feet...my vote in Chicago and Illinois was meaningless, and I hated the trajectory of the city and impact to my quality of life. So I left and went somewhere that better aligned. I encourage all progressive to remain in or seek out the most progressive areas of our county and stay or move there.

Well that's certainly an interesting take on personal responsibility.

Just curious if government agencies brought that same energy and persistence when protesters stormed the capitol and legislators offices for the Kavanaugh hearings.

quote:

Dozens of protesters opposed to the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court targeted the offices of swing vote Republican senators Thursday to pressure them to vote against President Donald Trump’s nominee, who is denying allegations he sexually assaulted a woman when they were both in high school in the 1980s. I assume all these people are still in the middle of lengthy sentences?

Capitol Hill Police said they arrested 56 people on Thursday related to Kavanaugh protests on Capitol Hill. Roughly two dozen of those were arrested outside the office of Sen. Bob Corker, a Tennessee Republican, according to a police officer on the scene.

Defiantly blocking the hallway in front of Corker’s office, the protesters, representing a coalition of progressive groups, chanted, “We believe women” and “Corker vote no” as US Capitol Police removed them.

The term that is literal kryptonite to progressives.

If you vote for people who allow this type of thing to happen or enact policies that manifest it, you are responsible. That's not a stretch. Kind of the whole point of democracy and voting and whatnot.
