How about people start feeling grateful and fortunate instead of complaining about things others wish they had.

I agree.

But that is a cultural shift I don't see happening anytime soon. So now we have this added social pressure that ruins the holiday.

Well here is a bright novel idea. Celebrate the way you want to and don't let "society" ruin it for you. You are weak if you can't figure that out.

I can, but everyone around you stresses which ruins it.

I’m not sure why you brag about what you do in the bedroom around here so much

My only complaint is Christmas stuff starting way too early. Like now. Ridiculous.
The day after Thanksgiving I’m in full blast.

I don't mind combining the 2.

Thanksgiving was never a month of stuff just a few days.

That’s racist and chauvinistic.

Combining?
Yes that’s food for thought.

Christmas is a farce.
I am Christian saying this.
Obviously, the birth of Jesus is hugely significant.
The Christmas holiday is so full of mistruths.
Does the way we acknowledge and celebrate Christmas really honor God?

"Keep Christ in Christmas"??? Christ was never in it to start with!

I don’t dislike Christmas. I just want it to wait its turn. I don’t want to hear or see Christmas stuff until Black Friday at the earliest and December 1st preferably. Thanksgiving and Halloween are great holidays in their own right and deserve their moments in the sun.
