I would have never thought this. But to be fair Manhattan is like a sardine can when things are normal.

The second wave scares me.

Not because I think I'll die from the virus, but if people freak out that ends football season.

I'm not going a full year without fricking sports.

International travel not coming back anytime soon...that's for sure. If we get our shite under control the last thing we need is a bunch of foreigners reinfecting everything...especially from fricking China.

the politicians who are freaking out about this need to only be able to comment on a "Second wave" if they can articulate a big picture plan for their state/locality

Here’s one thing most people don’t understand about Asian cities in general: they are fricking huge. People think New York is huge, but it is #41 in most populated cities in the world. LA is #101 and Chicago is #171. Americans refuse to be packed like sardines in the way they are, which of course makes the virus spread that much more quickly in Asian cities.

You can add lifestyle and wealth to that. Tokyo is massive and packed, but most people there aren't living hand to mouth.

You can't "work from home" if you're selling snakeheads in a Chinese market, to put food on the table for a family of 8.

Did I read that correctly that they locked down 100 million people because of a cluster of 34 cases?

Talk about a sunk cost fallacy.

I saw where Walmart has started delivery now. Old people have no need to leave their house ever again for essentials.
