Outdoor Security Cameras

My vehicles were burglarized last night along with a few of my neighbors. What is the best most reliable security camera I can install myself? I would prefer one that I can view on my phone. Thanks!!

We use the Ring Pro and the additional Ring outdoor cameras. They have motion light attached to them and start recording if they're triggered.
I love them, great quality picture and I can watch on my phone live whenever I want as well. They record all motion activations and I pay like $30 a year for the cloud storage of the videos.
ETA:
The doorbell has a speaker on it too and its hilarious to freak out the delivery drivers. They're used to them, but they still get jumpy when I first say "HEY THERE!". I tell them sometimes to put packages on my back patio if they're valuable.

I have a set from a company called Amcrest. They’re cheap chinese crap but they work and the ap is decent. Be sure to get at least 720p so you can read license plates

i recently installed a swann 4 camera system. was not very hard at all. mine are 720p, so I'm sure there are better, but honestly I'm pretty pleased with mine. amazon under 300 bucks. i was told to get the 8 camera system or at least the 8 channel dvr and i didn't, and now i kinda wish i did. might upgrade in the future. haven't caught any DINDU's yet, but its inevitable that it will happen

I had the same thing happen to me. I have security cameras. All the cameras did for me was piss me off even more because I got to see the bastard less than 20 feet from my kids window digging in my truck. (He had his face covered the whole time).
And on my neighbors system, they were waving at the cameras. cocky little sh*ts.

Where you live? We are in prairieville and they hit our hood and 2 others around us we know of the other night when it was 16 degrees out. We have them on video and a few others do too but they covered up and you can’t see them. Assholes were just walking down the street without a care in the world checking all the cars.

Are yours battery powered or hardwired? Been thinking about getting one with the solar panel but might just wire it in to the outlet instead.

Amazon has some sets that are easy to install. Amcrest, Swann, etc. I have a wired system. Easy to use and install. Coax cables that connect with power near the DVR.
