Make him drive through baton rouge at 5pm.
I got to drive a vehicle with SS agents in Obama's motorcade when he came to Nashville.
We have horrible traffic and it was at rush hour. They completely emptied the major interstates in both directions for his transport, which also had a couple helicopters flying over us.
Top 3 coolest things I've ever been able to do. All because a childhood friend worked in the White House and she hooked me up. Picked him up at the military base in Air Force One on the tarmac. We didn't stop once (and barely slowed down) from the plane pickup to the high school where he spoke and back again.
Anyways, they'd just clear the entire interstate system if he came through Baton Rouge. It felt apocalyptic driving on an 8 lane interstate with no other cars in either direction at 5 pm on a weekday
ETA:
Sidenote -- Not too long after, there was a national news article about the security concerns of "volunteers" driving vehicles in the President's motorcade in all the cities he visits.
Not sure they even do it anymore

I've never lived on that side of the bridge but it sucks at 3pm on a Sunday. I couldn't imagine crossing it twice per day.
The thing is.. It has gradually become that bad over the past.. I say 5 years. There has always been certain times when you knew traffic was going to be bad. In the mornings from about 6:45AM - 8:30AM then 3:30PM - 6PM on the weekdays.
On the weekends the only time you knew traffic would be bad was LSU home games and the Sunday after a holiday (people all coming back into town). Now, at any given time it can be bad. I could get just about anywhere in BR from my house in 30-35 mins.. Now you have to leave 45mins to an hr just in case...

Damn, not too many people can say they drove the President of the US...

Good Ole Billy probably paid for those socks with tax payer money.

Nor can I
I drove a suburban about 5 cars back from him.
But I did get to shoot the shite with him. Its crazy how chill it all was. They actually had me (and a handful of other local drivers) pick up the vehicles from Hertz at the airport
I was the only non "local-influencer" amongst the drivers. A couple city councilmen and a state senator's chief of staff...and me, a random guy who works in healthcare and has the right friend

I feel for anyone thinking they will get over that bridge this evening when he is on his way back to Chennault. It's going to be a nightmare.
Wait, what time is that happening?

Even then.. Not many people can say they drove with the SS as part of the President of the US motorcade.
Did you have to go through any type of security clearance?

Yeah an extensive background check weeks prior. And then the agents gave us a serious pat down that didn't leave much of my body to their imagination
But once that was over, I could do anything. I was able to actually pop my head in The Beast and look around. An agent let me shut the door to feel how heavy it was. Its essentially a tank, it's nuts.
We pulled our cars up to AFO and opened the doors for the agents to load up. A couple of them had some sweet weapons.
Fun day and I've got a bunch of pics from it. Got a joke cracked on me because I took a picture while driving on the interstate in the President's motorcade with my cellphone

Billy is such a tool... even Trump looks like he is thinking "what a dork"
Hopefully Trump was paying attention when he went over the bridge and hopefully someone told him how bad it is

I don't know much about him, but I know the closer you get to Plaquemines Parish the more people don't like him..
Why do people around there not like him?

Was told they took 210, faster and easier route from Chenault. HWY 27 has been shut down from ten to Hackberry since noon and will be until Trump gets on ten coming back. Hope i can get to the state championship game at 6 today in Sulphur.
