Our Lady of Mercy School Shelter in Place

Anyone else have kids at Our Lady of Mercy in Baton Rouge? Just got an email notification that the school is sheltered in place at the advice of local authorities. Can’t find any info on twitter yet.

Is this off Government?
My guess is an unvaccinated individual entered the school lobby. Or a local pet Tiger got out of its enclosure. Could also be aliens.

OT has eyes and ears everywhere. We've had major news stories show up here before they hit the news.
My first instinct is there was an unrelated shooting in the area and they locked down so the perp can't take hostages.

Im sure 100s of parents are bombarding them with calls currently. Id rather them focus on the safety of the kids rather than answering my phone call.

Here is the scoop. Someone said 9 Hail Mary’s instead of 10 after confession. So the school is preparing for the wrath of God.
ETA: school administrators might be being extra cautious given what happened last week in Detroit. Most likely it’s the local police letting the school know about a nearby incident and there is nothing to worry about.

I would assume a shooting happened, possibly in the N Ardenwood area, given the schools close proximity.

FYI; Its policy if Law Enforcement is serving a warrant within a certain distance of a school, they call the school and for safety advice school to lock down..
Not saying this is what happening but def likely. Hope it works out to be nothing for your and the other kids there.
