What was your first clue? And you all called him to be your pastor? Did no one else want the job? Is he 28?
I can’t fathom how this guy never raised any flags until after you hired him. Our pastor is in his late 40’s, been with us over ten years, and I can count on one hand the number of times he’s logged into FB. He generally doesn’t see social media as anything more than an opportunity to say the wrong thing, offend someone, start an endless argument, etc. And, needless to say, he doesn’t go to bars. He’s not against people having a drink or two, but he does not and feels church leadership should not, not because it’s wrong, per se, but because of the perception it invites.
And bragging about living a lavish lifestyle? What kind of church is this??? This guy is living his life in complete opposition to what most pastors believe they are called to do.
