You don't have to take its advice and anyone who knows how to use it correctly would absolutely find information that will be useful. You have no fricking clue what you are talking about.

You're an idiot.

Your doctor needs to recommend it then you need to apply at Social Security center. Depends on how many credits you have too. And your income

I work in HR and handle leaves. Call your wife’s HR department and explain the situation. This exact situation is what we do. Sorry to hear about your wife.

Yet you are telling me ChatGPT would not be useful to him in this situation. I just asked it "can you help someone with a short term disability insurance situation?"

It replied

"Short answer? Yes
"Long answer?" Yes. Then it goes into detail and gives me a whole outline of information and in what direction you can select to go into.

And if you try it and say "I asked it the same exact question and it said _______". I have the personality on mine set up different than you likely having the default.

Do you want me to ask it a specific question?

So again, tell me how will ChatGPT not help?

It’s basically a 3 party insurance that picks up your tab of your salary sometimes it’s 60-80-100% of your pay.

Yes, mine is 60% which unfortunately I'm currently on with a broken ankle. Thankfully I have some leave time built up so I'll be getting approximately 90% while I'm out for the duration

ChatGPT dows not have magical access to individual policies. It can give very basic answers to questions. The OP has specific questions regarding his wife's policies.

I work in the industry and few months ago I asked ChatGPT to compare and contrast two different company's disability products that I know very well and give a recommendation as a test. ChatGPT recommended the company with the weakest definition for own occupation as the better product. It also got other details about the policies wrong.
