You do realize that "bodybuilding" in and of itself is a different training program designed for myscle growth, not strength.

Sooooooo, its better for that objective than crossfit. So, if i want muscle growth, then crossfit isn't my best option.

People train towards goals:

Bodybuilding = muscle
Powerlifting = strength
Crossfit = capacity

So, why is yours the best? Especially if i want to build muscle or strength.

Its not.

If your goal is capacity, I'll give you that but there are other, safer, ways to go about it.

Don't feed the troll.

Scruffy look into greyskull lp. Will allow you to continue to milk those lp gains but allows a lot of flexibility.

If you want the book, look on scribd or email me tdlsu777. Gmail

I recommended it for the OP who appeared to be a novice who appeared to have modest all around fitness goals. I didn't say it is the best for all people although I would probably never recommend a "bodybuilding" regimen because it is not effective long term due to the tendencies for people to overtrain certain body parts while under training others. These imbalances will likely cause problems down the road and lead to an inability to train in any capacity.
And body building regimen leads to hypertrophy especially if you are on anabolic. If you are natural you need more HGH from your own body which I think cross fit will stimulate at a greater level than will bodybuilding.

So do an AMRAP of Olympic lifts as fast as you can without training strictly in the Olympic lifts first? Interesting way to go about things...

Ill have to take your word for it. You assume there is no learning curve for cross fit. Not sure where you came by that notion but it is incorrect. He will get coaching and training and direct involvement with a coach throughout his workout which he will NOT get at a gym unless he forks out $100 per hour. The irony is laughable.

You do realize, as well, that his coaching and training comes from a certificate gained over one weekend, yeah?

Or from many years of experience, but whatever you want to believe.

You do what you do and I will do what I do.
