It's the Mississippi River stage you dolt... It's been in flood stage for the past 6 months

Barry rained on arkansas, western tenn and western kentucky and southern Indiana. (And all the way to new england).

I'm aware of this and the warnings for those are worded different than the latest.
I'm also aware Thunderstorms pop up in La Summers.
But 70% and higher for that many days isn't "normal" La weather.

Got a upper shortwave setting up near us middle of next week. Enhances rain chances in the afternoons but isn't some organized system. Typical afternoon heating + seabreeze boundaries that form up our afternoon storms getting a little kick from the upper levels to enhance the process.
In short, don't worry about it too much. The flood warnings are definitely for the Mississippi River.
