Very good choice Nomos is IYKYK watch.
Make sure you can pronounce the German region it is made in. This is the correct pronunciation though you will hear it a little differently even among German speakers. The video is about how to pronounce Ghashutte Original but it is all the same. Some of the best watches in the world come from that region of Germany including Lange.
Made in Germany does not mean a lot (much less than Swiss Made even) but made is Glashutte means something.

All this for that, why does to change from digits to numerals? Weird
To each his own I guess.

It is called a California dial because company in California started using them on some refurbished Rolex watches. The original California dials started in the '30s and were found on some Rolex and Panerai and were called error-proof or high visibility dials depending on the manufacturer. They are a dial some people find interesting, I have a Panerai 249 that has a Cali Dial and I really like it.
As a note, the California dial has lots of conflicting "history" around it so you may hear multiple stories about its origins, reasoning and resurgence.

On this topic -- anyone here ever had a Glashutte Original?
Tried on the SeaQ Panorama Data -- it's big, but seems to wear smaller than it's size would suggest.
One thing that gives me pause is the short warranty. It does seem one that is negotiable on prices with ADs.

I have owned a couple and still have the grey version in the Glashutte Original Sixties Iconic Collection that came out in 2015.
They are excellent watches and solid value speaking relatively. I wouldn't be concerned at all about the 2-year warranty. Normally with watches (and most things), once you are beyond the infant mortality stage you are good.
I like the SeaQ, especially with the grande date but there are a ton of exceptionally cool dive watches around or below the price. If it is your favorite I would not hesitate to buy one.

Fair point in my experience as well.
Had been holding my “watch reserve” for a BLNR, but I’ve worn real thin with the BS. That GO is beautiful though and something you truly don’t see everywhere.
I also have a 226570 and Panerai 1535, so also questioning if I really even need another GMT despite my love of them. I’ve always loved the heritage of the GMT Master, otherwise, no other Rolex I’m really pining for after I got my Polar.

Go to Jared's and get a Tag Heuer.

I have a GO Senator Moonphase. I'll put a pic up when I get back from dinner. About to walk out the door.
I like the Bahuaus inspired German watches like a number in the Nomos line (my favorite is the club date - one of the best executed date windows on any watch I've seen, and also the Junghans Max Bill.
Here is a pic of my GO. Bought this watch in Germany in 2002.

Never heard of them and am now intrigued. I dig that Autobahn.
I suspect availability may be a challenge

Hydroconquest is nice but their new Hydroconquest GMT is even better. Strongly considering for my first big watch purchase. Only thing I don’t like are round indices at 6 and 9. Need to see in person first.

Ok.
Here’s the situation:
Submariner 16610 bought in 1996 and in very good condition.
No box/papers.
Last service was 2007……running fine.
Got appraisal at Zadocs last year ($10,800).
Interested in moving on to something new/fun. What’s your advice on easiest and most secure path to flipping it?
