Lava Cantina was better before the latest management took over. They had a nice line up of tribute bands out of Dallas and some really good bartenders. Now, no tribute bands to speak of, only mediocre local stuff and the newer crew of bartenders are slow as molasses and there's usually only one to take care of that mile-long bar.
They need to tighten back up IMO.

The same guy/team from Lafayette doesn't run both locations and Rock N Pops? I thought they were slow at the Perkins Rowe Location but maybe it's gotten worse now that they took over the old Lucy's as well. Stretched thin.

Man they had a bartender there about 4 years ago with fake tits that was FIRE. Had me buying all kinds of way to expensive tequila shots
Cadillac is awesome. It’s an older crowd but they play a lot of rap music so it’s fun watching the older people dance around to boosie. Right around the corner from my house so me and my girl go from time to time to people watch. Last time we went a mom was there for her 47th bday with all her fine daughters and was hammered screaming how she wants to try anal. I’ve also gotten blacked out there and started talking shite to Doug planchard. Wouldn’t have ended well for me

I met a former LSU football player's mom there one random night about 6 yrs ago. I was extra especially careful to be respectful, considering his profession after football.
She was nice and very proud of her sons.
