Somebody is trying to get you fired. Watch your back.

You went mudding and you're trying to lay down an e-trail for insurance and the cops when you try to pawn it off on another employee?

I'd pull footage from any other cameras to see if the employee who dropped off the keys on friday actually drove it in.

On Friday, it was driven RT to a site and back, and parked at ~2pm without any issues whatsoever.
How reliable is this statement?

Obviously, over the weekend someone had their old flood damaged car towed into the lot, swapped out the engine with your working car, siphoned the gas into their tank, and is now joy riding on your dime.
Your only hope is to contact all the towing and wrecker services in the area, but if they planned ahead enough to hack your security camera they probably paid extra for confidentiality.

It was Alleva trying to leave town.

This is brilliant. List a set of circumstances, have the OT come up plausible explanations, find one that works, use it as an excuse to save your job.
You deserve a raise.

Sounds like the employee forgot the car running when they got out of it Friday. The car overheats blows head gasket while running out of gas? IDK

Nah. I’m paid well enough.
Just curious to what happened when I parked it around 2pm Friday and today.

..but it doesn’t explain the muddy engine and corrosive battery.
The radiator was making some noise when I got out, like the fan was continuing to run, but the engine was actually off. I checked before I left the car.

What in the frick is RT? Real Time?
Posted on 3/19/19 at 8:48 pm to LSUAlum2001
Sounds to me like the car has a blown head gasket...radiator water has flooded the cylinders and is running out the exhaust pipe. Radiator water also blew in the engine compartment and coated the area with rust stains.

Employee blindly relied on GPS and drove into a lake

That was probably a frog stuck in there from the pond you went joyriding in.

The exhaust valves are above the head gasket and the cylinders, unless it's some kind of engine like a boxer or a flat engine, which ain't in his company's Honda Accord. How does the water drain up?
