I'm tired as hell of mine falling out. I just have the classic skull candy buds which obviously don't cut it.

What do you use for your ear buds?

Oh, and we need a fitness board

I don't run with music. I suggest you try it. Especially in this day and age it's a wonderful break from the constant flood of media, music, texts, emails, updates, etc.

I don't understand stereos on fishing boats either. I like the peace and quiet.

The newer iPhone iPod buds work great for me. The older ones were the worst and so uncomfortable but the new ones are actually good. Lasted through 2 halfs.
Used to use the Sony wrap around ear individual buds about $20.

I've never tried anything expensive.

Yeah but I don't mind it. Plus I use the endomondo app which tells me how many miles I've run

I just bought a cheap $20 set of wireless earbuds from amazon. They stay in my ear with no problem and came with 3 different sized buds and stays.

Also, I will be using wireless earbuds exclusively. Not having a chord bouncing around is fantastic.

I use the Nike app to track my pace / distance and just pull out my phone after each mile to listen to it and check it. Just a suggestion. I know some folks like the headphones. My gf uses some "fitness" ones she bought online that wraps around her ears to keep them from falling out. She doesn't really care for them though.. says the buds tend to turn and shift out of her ear.

when I was running regularly I would hardly ever have music...I enjoy the visceral sounds of my own breathing/heaving, the birds, the ambient sound of life! when I would bring music I spent half the time fiddling with my ear phoens

yurbuds

Or find other earbuds with a similar shape.

ETA: you can buy the covers separately, so if you have standard old iPhone earbuds that are the regular circular shape, you can buy a set of yurbud covers and they will work.

I went with these as well, very comfortable and never fall out. Only negative is that they are not wireless.

haha. no. the only time I use music when working out is when I'm on a bike. I can't ride more than 10 minutes without getting bored.

I never listen to music when lifting other than the shitty music they play at snap fitness (piped in music)
