been having a pain after i run and/or lift for a month or two and its worse on days that i do a heavy workout
ive been checked out by my dr and my vitals were good, he just said the pain was most likely do to my breathing and i aggravated something.
its right below my colarbone
anyways, today was the worst that its been. i almost had a panic attack and its just a deep dull pain that wont go away. i took advil and tylenol and nothing. i tried icy hot but still hurts
any experience with something like this? i did a long run today(9 miles) and it hasnt stopped since

In through the nose. Out through the mouth. In through the nose. Out through the mouth. In through the nose. Out through the mouth. In through the nose. Out through the mouth. In through the nose. Out through the mouth.

Impingement on brachial nerve? Can't remember if that goes under clavicle or not.
But if it seems to be coming on after a run, I'm guessing it is referred pain from lung / diaphragm. However, I'm not sure what the main causes are for pain coming from the diaphragm, unless it's overtraining or some damage to the pleura from overdoing it perhaps.

I wouldn't worry. I hear AIDS isn't near as fatal as it used to be.

That is also the incorrect way to breathe when running. All breathing should be through mouth. You are able to take in more air at once to increase endurance

Always worked for me and I have three marathons and a shite ton of half marathons under my belt. Whatever works for you, I guess.

I run 'distance' (5-10) daily, and lift moderate/heavy weights 5 days per week. I have experienced all kinds of little injuries/pains but nothing like you have described. I'm not a doctor but an X-ray may be in order ? Just to be sure nothing is in that region that shouldn't be causing the pain ?

Vitals/bios aren't enough. You need more testing.
Sorry to say that, but there's no damned way someone doesn't shake it all off after putting in nine miles.

My arms will get sore if you allow them to tense up. Perhaps you need to swing your arms differently as you run.
