My daughter recently had it bad and we're at the tail end of it after treating it with some sort of cream. I don't have the name of it now but will update when I get home. We were treating her for about 3-4 months and it was very bad. It's clearing up now and can barely tell they were there.

ETA: The doctor told us to use a different towels and wash cloths after baths daily.

His are at the butt/leg crease. He has a small bunch, then like 2-3 individual ones on his thigh.

This has made me feel better. But they've been there for a while.

I have it on my arm. Can be frozen off, but I wouldn't suggest it.

The medicine we put on it at the office is trying to stimulate immune response and inflammation. So yes turning red is good.

Yes, it goes away.

Can last up to 3 years? Most cases go away in a year or so. On their own. Treatments aim to speed that process up.

Has acetic acid in it which is an irritant, probably why it helped.

Varicella is a systemic herpes infection. Molluscum is a harmless skin infection. Not really the same thing.

It has an off label use of boosting the immune system in children's skin. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Probably imiquimod or veregen cream. It can be a frustrating condition to treat for sure.

My sons was getting worse so we went to derm. So far had 3 treatments with"beetlejuice " to fight it. Much better and probably won't need another. Youngest gig it also so we treated him once and looks like that's all it will take. Treatment wasn't bad and made noticeable difference. Would do again. We waited almost a year before going to derm.

Currently going through it now. Seems it can take up to a year to run its course. We were treating with tea tree oil and that stopped working, so bought some of this over the weekend and it seems to be doing some good. $32 for a tea tree oil sized bottle, so I hope so. I also read you can add iodine to the tea tree oil and that will drastically increase the odds of it being effective, but we have yet to try that.

We bought something similar but it didn't help. The otc Tagamet did.

I'm serious. Try it.

My son had them from about 8 to 9. Nothing to worry about, they will go away on their own sometimes after a month, sometimes 3 years. His lasted 6 months or so.

Both my kids had it- youngest had really bad. Lasted well over a year. Tagament lessened it to where it was bearable. Little shite is OCD- popping bumps, picking scabs. I think that contributed to it lasting as long as it did

Very common. Be patient, leave them alone and they will go away

My son had it on the back of his right knee. Doc was nonchalant about it. Said it would go away.

We put Boudreaux Butt Paste on it every night before bed and day by day it seemed to get better. In about 3 weeks it was gone. This was a year ago.

I don't think it was a coincidence.
