I would beat the girl's arse for snitching. My sister was a snitch and I would still like to beat her arse for it. We have no relationship because she cannot be trusted.

We are both over 60 now. frick her. Sisters do not snitch on each other.

1) They learn what they hear.

2) We all cussed when were kids and parents weren't around.

3) This does not stop him from getting in trouble with you, the parent, when he gets caught, tattled on, or is otherwise blatant with it.

As for the daughter.

No one likes a tattletale but she's old enough to have a talk about tolerance and when to hold back and when to immediately talk to a trusted adult.

Tell him if he keeps cussing he's gonna become a she.

Tell her if she keeps being a rat she's gonna become a he.

That'll get them thinking.

How do you guys handle both situations?
You dont handle the boy cursing. If he isnt doing it around adults or teachers, it isnt an issue. It means he is mature enough to know when not to curse. He is fine. Well done on raising him

For the 9 year old, tell her nobody likes a tattle tale. There is a difference between tattle telling, and letting an adult know when another kid is doing something that could hurt themselves or somebody else

Now, if you can teach me how to keep my three year old boy from not saying damnit and shite at school over and over I am all ears

At the rate kids are having sex changes these days, this may not be punishment.

Parent: "Where did you learn this cursing son? Tell me WHERE?!?!"

Son: "I fricking learned it from you alright? I fricking learned it from you!"

PSA: "Parents who use cursing, have children who use cursing."

Mine are 5(boy) and 8(girl).We're having the same exact problems. Must be the age/sex dynamic of the children.
I have a 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl. She follows him around like a puppy and he is her hero

When they get to be 8 and 6, she will likely be fishing and cussing like a sailor

Are you ok with him cursing? Because it sounds like you are ok with him cursing.

1st grade me was on the school bus being teased by a 2nd grade girl. I called her a bitch and she ratted me out to the bus driver. I got kicked off the bus until I brought a note from home. Was not a pleasant evening at my house.

Are you trying to make the kid blind??

We roll with the apple cider vinegar. Our 11 yr old takes a huge spoonful like a champ now

Take your daughter's favorite stuffed animal and stab it to shreds. Then put one of those little rubber rats in its mouth and leave it on her bed. That will teach her what happens to a rat
