OT Opinion: Excessive Yawning at Work with Open Mouth

Around your boss, co-workers, or clients, is this a normal body function or rude? What says the OT?

I would try not to around the boss and clients. Looks like you are bored or not getting enough sleep.

I have a problem with this. If I'm anywhere comfortable for an extended period (like a cold conference room with big comfy chairs), my breathing gets light and I end up needing to yawn. It has nothing to do with my attention or sleep the night before.

It seems like it is becoming a societal norm for people to express that they are bored or dont feel like listening to you, their boss, or the Client. To simply yawn is one thing but I was under the impression that doing so excessively, with an open mouth and making a loud sound effect while in an office full of people was rude but I may have been brought up differently.
