You'd be amazed at how much force you can generate with a piece of allthread and a couple of nuts and washers. You can pull or push that back into position if you are creative enough. It doesn't look like it has to be perfect anyway. You may get away with "good enough".

If you use allthread you can be really selective with the force you apply and it's very controllable.

Update:

So we finally got around to getting it driveable enough to get to a collision shop and the repair will be about $500.

This was awesome news to my son who has been saving to pay for it and we hoped it would be in that neighborhood.

Thanks all for the suggestions!

Seriously? Get a 3 or 4 pound hammer for $20 and straighten it out. It isn't rocket science.

What's in the water at the OT these days? Everybody's a soyboy.

Why didn’t you just pay for it? He’s just a kid. Help him out.

It's a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Simply buy a new Jeep, or better yet, a 2012 or newer 4 Runner.

Technically the unibody is bent.

If he has insurance, total it.

If he doesn't, you need a sledgehammer and a welder.
