OT Lawyers: Waivers/Disclaimers

Listening to sports radio in Nashville. Question posed: “Would you attend a live sports event?”
Maybe anecdotal, but in a city with a major social and political cross section, the replies were 50/50 (and that’s now).
Same would apply to concerts, fairs, etc. Hell, everything from to Foot Locker to Starbucks.
Want to go? Sign a bulletproof form.
Could it be an umbrella-type thing to do online? shite, people are doing less and getting thousands in Govt Cheddar.
As a player that can’t see when venues will open again (and has signed NDA’s aplenty) I’m just spitballing.
I want to work this year and am trying to figure the frick all how.

IMO it's not the waiver you sign personally.
It's the person signing the waiver who has the virus (possibly even unknowingly)
Who spreads it to you
Then you spread it to folks who had no connection to the event

assumption of risk - if you take yourself to a sporting event it's on you. Nobody forces you to go to a football game. No need for a waiver. Torts 1

Exactly. This is why those "waivers" you sign at your local trampoline park don't mean shite. They know that, but get you to sign believing you will just walk away when something happens to your kid. Not in Louisiana.

You can’t legally waive personal injury in Louisiana, only property damages.

I’ve said for weeks I honestly believe most SEC schools could sell out their stadiums if they held a game right now
