My buddy was an amateur fighter for a brief time. He's more of a grappler and I am better with my hands than he is and I wrestled some in high school so I know how to sprawl. We were joking around and he told me how bad he would whoop my arse. I know I would get destroyed in a prolonged grappling match, but think that I would likely knock him out before it came to that. I saw him get knocked out in his last fight and the chin is suspect.
If I lose, I'll be sore and we'll laugh it off, but if I win, it will be pretty violent, since my only path to victory is to sleep him. Part of his persona is being "the fighter", so I question if we'd still be friends if I embarrassed him like that. Should I try and light him up?

Well, it is trashy because a lot of the people that do it are trashy, but training unarmed combat and/or sparring isn't trashy. He and I affluent and untatted, so in this case, no.

I can box him up, but without judges, there is no way to claim victory without stopping him. Maybe we set a timer and do rounds and I maintain my distance and don't try for the KO. Without at least a knock down, though, I won't have proved the point that I think needs proving.
But, yes, I'm probably fricked.
