So January got snipped. End of March had double hernia surgery in the groin. Had extreme, stop me in tracks gas pain for a bit after hernia surgery. Not sure if any of this is related or not but recently in the past couple-few weeks I’ve been having this sharp pain between the belly button and waist line. Mostly on the left side. I can pin point and push on the area. Sometimes ventures to the right but not often. Much worse when I sit for a while. Hasn’t gotten worse or better in that timeframe.

Men get their nuts cut then complain about side effects. Checks out.

did you get a mesh for the hernia?
did they leave something in you?
could it be an abcess?
go to the doctor.

Could have a nerve entwined in scar tissue. Happened to me. Flared up a lot when sitting and pants waist line tightened up.

I know a lot of people don't like to go to the doctor but having issues in the general area of a recent surgery that persists for weeks is certainly a time to go.

Sub-q air. Exercise will help it dissipate. If it doesn’t go away in the next few days, go see a Dr. And get an xray.
EDIT: surgery in march? Not sub-q air. I would go see a Dr.

Did your wife lose her dildo?

Likely pain related to scarring or you got a recurrent hernia

From the hernia or from the spay/neuter?

A kidney stone will rock your world.

Sorry for the late response. Yea I know I should go. Just too busy. I did have the mesh done. Nurse friend suggested the diverticulitis as well.

Diverticulitis?
The most painful thing I've experienced, aside from having my head split open by an ax-wielding buddy when I was 8
Diverticulitis knocked me down big-time. Lower left abdomen and traveled to just under my belly button. Morphine helped though.

hernia surgery
worst thing I ever experienced - I think I had a butcher for s surgeon - I hope I never experience that again - only time in my life that I've taken real pain meds

Been in some cases where the needle count before closure doesn’t match up to the pre-op count. Easiest way to piss off a surgeon.

I experienced sharp pain for nearly 2 years after getting snipped. No rhyme or reason. Would just happen for a short period of time and then go away after a few hours.
Aleve, for me, seemed to help.
