My question is this - it is obviously in a place that children can see it, and although there is no nudity, some parents may feel like a woman with her hand down her panties is not appropriate for you know, a 5 year old. Its an interesting debate, because its really no different than Maxim now, but there is the perception problem, and this particular cover might be more risqué than anything Maxim has.

I don't see a big deal with it. You have a photo of Muhammad Ali with his shirt off in the same photo. It's about time that this country stop treating sex/nudity like it's some taboo topic. The people who find this "risque" for teens to see are just making things harder on themselves and making sure that their children seek other peoples opinions (schoolmates & the internet) on the topic of sex.

Most smart kids just went to the ART section and picked up a book of french nudes anyway.

Damn, never thought of that as a kid. The best thing I could find was the African eraser nipples from National Geographic.

The only people who associate Playboy with being mildly pornographic are those old enough to remember when it contained nudity. A kid doesn't have that association and there have been far more risqué pictures on the covers of mainstream publications than the one in question here.

and these are some mild ones, as you have Miley Cyrus nude, Neil Patrick Harris with a hat over his junk, some band grabbing their dicks, Christina Aguilera with a guitar over her tits.

Can't even imagine how disappointed I would be as a teen-ager if I got my hands on a playboy only to find out it was one of the neutered ones.

If he/she doesn't know how to get around mom and dads internet security that's pretty sad.

Kids today don't know what they're missing by accidently stumbling across a pot of gold in the woods aka playboy or penthouse.

But the issue is that when they and their parents are in line to buy their Peter Cottontail and Thomas the Train, this is staring them right in the eye, whether they purchase it or not.

What's the issue? Stop sheltering your kid.

I had one playboy my entire life. I believe one of the girls from Charmed was on the cover. Kids nowadays have it made. Life was pretty rough when you had to use dialup AOL internet to get to spunkbank com. I don't feel sorry for them

Pictures would load from top down and it took like 45 seconds.

You had no idea what you were getting from the neck down, but it was worth the wait.
