first=ipad $500.00
second=designer purse $600.00
third=diamond ring $1500.00
I wish I would not of set the bar so high on my first time. I think it is the dumbest thing ever but my wife's friends got stuff so I had to trump whatever they got naturally.

Good, glad I'm not the only one who thought that was a little absurd.
Was referencing the rich aunt who asked the question, and I'm sure got some nice jewelry for having her kid. If only it was a humble brag

Stupidest shite ever and thankfully the g/f agrees. One of her friends insisted on a "push present" and she told her that the kid is the push present.

I don't really mind the idea of a "push present", but if your wife or g/f insists on one, or gets angry if you do not give one, then you knocked up the wrong woman

I got a charm bracelet from Tiffany's ($100) and we already had name picked out, so I got it engraved.

Yeah I think a guy wanting to buy a gift for her is a very sweet gesture. But it shouldn't be something the woman expects.

Never heard of it until one of my wife's aunts asked me if I had something picked out yet. Baby is due in January, and apparently I'm supposed to have a nice gift waiting for her. It sounded like a snobby way of forcing a rich guy to buy his wife jewelry to me. So anyone else do something like this, and what did you give?
Bought her some flowers, bitches love flowers.

I would think no longer having a baby wedged in your vagina would be enough of a gift.

Beta as frick. You already gave her a baby. On one occasion, I gave Mrs. Midnight 2 babies on the same day.

Wife finds most of these kinds of trends stupid. We don't know the gender, those reveal parties and other pinterest nonsense is not her thing. She won't be expecting a present, other than the Whole Foods Turkey and Brie sandwich she hasn't been able to eat for 8 months now haha.

Yes. Necklace with our child's birthstone.
She didn't ask for it, but she sure as shite deserved something for the 9 months of pregnancy and the birth itself, which nearly brought me to the floor.

No brie for pregnant women
Soft cheeses can contain a bacteria that can harm baby.
