OT Catholics and Episcopalians, do you wash or brush your ashes off after service? Do you keep them on for a couple of hours? The majority of the day?

Most will walk around with the ashes on all day to show they went to church for once

Man you’re melting on every board

The people you’re referring to only go on Christmas and Easter anyways.

Until I shower, but I tell ya what. The First Methodist church in my town has a drive thru Ash Wednesday where the Preacher places ashes on your head and then prays with you while you sit in your car. Not too shabby....

Until I take a shower at night. Why would I be ashamed of having some ashes on my forehead if it is my religion?
