Yea I’m watching. I’m treating this like the Olympics.
That is me. I don't hate soccer I just don't watch it often, but if America is playing the world in any sport, I love to watch. Gotta root for the home team!

Not a chance of watching that crap!!
I’m at my camp cooking smoke sausage and smothered tators listening to old country music drinking beer.

Hope the US wins but its still soccer and a Nope for me.

Soccer is a lot more fun when you have a natural team to root for... European soccer is more akin to SEC football than anything else: you're born into a fanbase, good or bad, and that's it.
It's a completely different experience trying to pick one of 15 cuckcentral-cities' teams to support
World Cup gives us a chance to actually support a team because we have a natural connection to it, completely unlike the MLS

And at least (as far as I can tell) , the players aren't a bunch of Rapinoe level America hating athletes.
The LeBron James of Soccer Christian Pulisic is MAGA AF. USA going all the way!

I give europeans credit. Relegation and promotion is the best thing about sports IMO

Auburn would be in Division III right now if it were up to me. I'm all for relegation

want to see the U.S. win everything, everywhere, every time, against everyone.
Yep
Edit: this is the first soccer game I’ve watched. Can someone explain why the clock is ticking up as opposed to, well, down??

90 minutes plus stoppage time

The guy that just scored looks like the Carolina Panthers' Bryce Young

I’m watching. But this ref is bullshite.
And anything exciting that happens is apparently offsides.
