I don’t really watch soccer at all normally but it’s just something about rooting for your country to beat other counties that fires me up every World Cup

They have definitely put the brakes on outright flopping though since you can be yellow carded for it. I think the foul term is 'insinuating' though I'm not certain. In any event, there is far less than in the past. That said, this sport needs an extra ref like the NBA to get a better, more contemporaneous look at what's actually happening out there.
