Nice reading about your tenure with the Tigers. Being a walk-on would be a dream for damn near anybody on this forum.

I'll take a rain check on this, though. Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

I'd never fight anyone these days. But Curly was good to me and I'll always defend him as a human, not as a coach or husband.

Pretty sure there already is a cure for the coronavirus, too bad there isn't one for Les miles unfaithfulness to his wife.

But yea, that’s what I’ve heard. I am amused when I see people say Les was a “good man”. Oh boy...

Lots of smoke on this subject. His wife certainly isn’t a ‘looker’. Maybe they had an ‘understanding’

As far as townhouses and apartments near campus go, it’s pretty common for coaches to have them because of the long hours they work. I suppose it beats sleeping in the office.

I can confirm all the Les stories are bogus. I refuse to believe it anyways. Nick Saban, on the other hand, he absolutely, positively deposited a good ole fashioned Cleveland Steamer directly on Candy Edwards chest.

They took anyone back then who looked like a football player. But it sounds good now.
Sidenote: when Bahnsen pulled my file(15 min after walking in the office) and saw my ACT score and my major, he said, "Son we need guys like you on this team." and put his arm on my shoulder. That is a true story.

A real good guy I know from way back. Many good measurables as a player but seemed eclipsed by the insane talent at his position. Funny to read about him here now.

I had to name drop to prove I was on the ole 94 team.
On that PF I yelled back at Coach Bennett "He's holding me coach!" but he was just huge and had long arms.

My wife used to work with a former assistant’s wife and she told my wife that every time Kathy was out of town, Les had more fun than a married man should have.

Lloyd Carr hates Les Miles because he boned a fellow coach’s wife. This is why Miles never got officially offered the Michigan job.

Yall didn't know this? Forgive the uncle Rico but frick that. I was on the team.

I was an outstanding Defensive End in the class of 93, making all district in 7-4a at Woodlawn and 4-5a all Parish in EBR with likes of Alan Stansbury and Warrick Dunn.
But I was only 16 and 190lbs with no shot at playing college football.
When I got to LSU in the fall of 93 I was an inch taller and 25lbs bigger at 6'3 215lbs. Worked out hard as hell all fall and walked in the athletic office in January 94. I told a secretary I wanted to walk on and Bo Bahnsen took me right in and signed me up on my word. Imagine that now.
I was immediately 3rd string weak side behind Gabe Northern and Eric Valentino. Gilyard held down the other side and Valentino was first backup for both. He was a damned good player you never heard about.
Anyhoots. My number was #140 and my locker next to Andre Lafleur(notice the L behind Mike). He was a dick!
Alas, I recorded 3 sacks in the 94 spring game during the 3sv3s all on Ted Knightshead. But I could not do shite against the 2s. Too big and strong for my bitch arse. And Kris Perret laid me the frick out on a blind side pull.

I got a personal foul vs Trey Champagne during 3sv2s because I slapped his earhole for blocking me too good(who does that?). Another good player you never heard about.
DC Phil Bennett yelled at me by name. I was flattered and will never forget that moment

I quit LSU football in August 94 when Coach Lee Fobbs(awesome coach BTW) called me at home with bad news to tell me walk-ons couldn't show up until 3 weeks after scholarship freshman were reporting. Mike Sutton was a new stud DE from Salmen that was already ahead of me before I could even show up to practice. That pissed me off.
So I went to play rugby and never looked back.
I played 4 yrs for LSU Rugby, team MVP for 3 of them and MVP of the entire western union(LA to Colorado and North) my last year, ending my career with a 2nd Team All American honors in Long Beach, CA June of 1998.

Tldr I did play for LSU under Hallman. In my short time, He met with me 1 on 1 about my goals and performance for at least 20 minutes in the 'new' Athletic Bldg. And he helped jump my POS Chevette after spring practice one day.
I like Curly. Fight me.

when did you start banging dudes though?
