This is a spin off of the guy who asked where “Germans” came from. Has anyone heard this term for the group of Millenials born from 1980-1984?

While we are technically millenials, we were in college by the time social media came about. So we grew up playing in the woods and riding bikes, but also are relevant in the internet age. We lived through the “Germans” and “pwned” but also know how to use the joke.

Basically, the Oregon Trail micro-generation is the best.

Anybody born before 1987 is not in the millennial generation. I don’t let dumbfricks try to label me.

The bottom line is that if you were in high school and had your own cell phone or that was a common thing, you’re a millennial.

I've heard this. An article posted the other day said it was 78-82. I was born in 79 and somehow managed to be totally oblivious to Oregon Trail at the time. First heard of it a few years ago.

Check. But it was 10c a minute except for nights and weekends. Pagers were much more economical. I could page paragraphs using numbers.

I stayed with my high school girlfriend my first year of college (I know). The phone bills were crazy. Young punks don't know what it was like walking to school barefoot in the snow uphill both ways.

Then I took a blast of dysentery to the knee.
