This pisses me off to no end! I ordered Shrimp fried rice because I like shrimp IN my rice. If you leave the damn tail on I've got to pick them out of my food and peal them, ridiculous

You’re supposed to eat those.

Pretty easy to use a fork and knife and cut it right at the tail. Do you need your wife to do that for you?

It kind of annoys me too in a salad or pasta. I don't want to have to prepare my prepared food to eat.

It's beyond stupid. Can't stand when they leave the tails on? What is the purpose?

It would be a lot easier if the restaurant that I just paid to make my food for me finished their job

I agree especially with BBQ shrimp. With fried shrimp, I don't mind pinching the tail and eating but with BBQ shrimp or shrimp and grits it's so messy and a fork and knife doesn't always work the best.

Bullshite then I have to waste that last little segment of meat, that pisses me off more.

Then you lose the meat that is inside the tail shell. Get the F out of here with your BS.

WaWaWeeWA understands this and was a minute quicker on the draw.

Damn man that sounds horrible. I can’t even begin to fathom how hard it must be to have to peal the tail of the shrimp off

Who wants to stick their hands in a bowl of shrimp alfredo to peel the tails off? They should be peeled when they come from the kitchen.

If not, why not just throw the whole damn shrimp on top head and all?

I agree with OP. There's no good reason why you can peel the shrimp. It makes sense for a shrimp boil but any proper dish with shrimp in it should be peeled! With fried I get leaving the tip on bc its a handle.

You don’t have to stick your hands in the bowl. You can use your fork and take the shrimp out that way and then peal the tails off and put it back into your bowl. I do it all the time. Not hard

Well, it's not that difficult to just make the damned rice yourself but he paid someone else to do it.
