After I thought about it, I realized 60% was too low. France has been trying to get 75+% rates passed. You'd have to be a moron to think that's not coming here.

This is the stuff that conservatives have been warning about for decades. To see a company with the size of oracle move out of California is a huge embarrassment for the Liberals.
There have been a lot of others moving out with less heft but the trend is real.

Good! I hope more companies move to Austin. I've lived here since 2000 (originally from Louisiana). Place has become a liberal shithole. Bought my house in 2010 and will sell it in two years when daughter goes off to college to another West Coaster for 2.5x what I paid for it. Neighborhood is full of Tech engineers from CA willing to live here and think they are Texans. Austin is not Texas! Not anymore!

Austin has been liberal since the 70s Chico. In 2000 it was already uber liberal and not even wierd anymore. Oh, and my house in Dallas has tripled in value since 2000 and there aren't many Cali people here.
