Oprah Winfrey has deceived a lot of women over the years, and is just one more in a long line of examples of why you should never put your trust in a human being over God Himself, and His words for mankind, but instead measure what they say by scripture alone to see if it measures up. I distinctly remember her even claiming once back in a book back in the 80’s that she believed, and perhaps was even born again. I don’t know. It’s been a while, and I can’t recall exactly, but I do know she was born and raised in a Christian church.
What makes Oprah and people like her so dangerous is that she has drawn people into following her, and her doctrines are wildly at odds with sound biblical doctrine. It’s 100% new age gobbledygook, and a deceiving spirit of the age in which we live. It’s no great wonder that she is being lumped into all of this stuff IMO.
I think the lesson for all mankind is don’t follow people, rather follow God instead and you won’t get lost with people like Oprah and many many others along the way.
