That’s right the sexes are equal- a 17 or under boy would hold every women's world record but 1 and in most cases it’s not even close. Anyone know the single event out of 44 different events that a boy would not have world record versus women?

One examples- Just in the single year 2017, Olympic, World, and U.S. Champion Tori Bowie's 100 meters lifetime best of 10.78 was beaten 15,000 times by men and boys. (Yes, that’s the right number of zeros.)

The big rub here, most of y'all weren't actually that good. I was 16 the first time I went under a women's world record in swimming. My national ranking in that event was single digit for my age group. The women's world record in that event got lowered this week, and she was smoking 16 year old me.

My guess. The marathon.
Less athleticism and more endurance.
17 is young to build that level of endurance (or have the desire to train that much at 17.)

I watched most of that usa netherlands game.

Usa got worked for almost the entire game. Only their sheer size with that beast white chick they salvaged a tie. It was fun to see these oppressed women chase the ball for 90 minutes.

Marathon is correct….but in past 30 years men’s winner and women’s winners have basically stayed same % apart- women have not gained at all

The US was clearly the better team.

And I would say that both teams were about the same size. The US women’s soccer team doesn’t really stand out from a physical standpoint against the top European sides.

Agreed, a very tragic death. And the details that came out in the weeks after were just insane to me.
