Just switched to vodka and water. I decided I was going to grill some Korean short ribs and asparagus. I may cook a twice baked potato too. We will see how the night goes……

My dad was NFL level football player in his day. I came along a generation later and that same position was at least 50 lbs heavier. From my days of football to now that has added at LEAST 50 lbs more and possibly 100 lbs. Biggest difference tho is muscle twitch and speed. Not only are linemen way heavier now but they have speed to match. It is no wonder there are more concussions as the physics is simple. Greater mass at greater speed is harder impact damage.

Everything about the evolution of the NFL can be attributed to a focus on strength training, proper nutrition, and, this is the most important bit, PEDs.

I didn't read back through all of the thread here, but what I'm gathering is that you're saying humans have gotten bigger over the last 100 years as if that's some marvel of evolution, when it isn't. It has everything to do with a reduction of famine and an emphasis on science, particularly the USA. Nothing to do with the human body's functioning.

Start off slow and just add a weight lifting routine. Nothing to bulk up, but just to strengthen. I’ve done that for 4 months and it’s worked wonders and I feel much better. Very basic stuff including pushups, dumbbells, and a few other things. Good luck!

I've seen great results in weight loss with only eating mEat, two meals a day, at least four days a week. Also, no alcohol and moderate exercise.

1. Drink a lot of water or youll get kidney stones.

2. You should have SOME veggies, for the vitamins and fiber.

When you are 50+ lbs overweight, losing 2lbs a month isn't crazy

Dropping 25 pounds in a year when you were 6’0 and 225 seems pretty easy tbh

By simply cutting out fried foods? Suggests he was eating a large amount of it.

The average south LA baw would probably lose more than 25 lbs in a year by cutting out fried foods

When yog don't eat fried food you likely eat less stuff like pizza, chips, candy, etc because it makes you feel like shite

I'm a South LA guy. Don't really eat that much fried. I like it, fried shrimp, oysters, fish and chicken, just don't eat it that often.
