I think Amazon needs to take over the postal service
And I have no idea how that works, just that i get packages far faster through amazon

Move to Colorado.

Wish they would stop shrinking the size of lots in subdivisions. Stop building these McMansions on less than 1/4 acre.

The Yankees would move back to New Jersey, etc and the Canadian Geese would go with them.

The humidity. The heat isn’t great, but it really fricking sucks when you factor in all the damned humidity.

The lack of public transportation. With as big as the city has gotten, there is no reason to not have public transit everywhere in Atlanta.
I hope the good lord smites the people in Cobb and Gwinnett county. Racist, useless bastards.

Agreed, especially the people in Cobb. They think the area is some safe haven from the elements especially now that the ballpark and Battery is there.
They don't realize how much the area could benefit economically from a simple MARTA link to the city. Traffic on Cobb Pkwy and around the Cumberland area is out of control. But nah, we can't have MARTA because it'll bring culcha! ...Culcha is already in Cobb.

What’s the one thing though that pisses you off most where you live?
I have to drive too far to ski, on a Midwest hill.

Mason Jar
I've been there before. It's not far from my old agency which is at 36th and Madison. Decent bbq, nice space.

It’s fun.
Games get a little too weird though
Turns into a bunch of people trying to turn the game into a networking event

Aren’t there a bunch of lakes nearby?
Yes, there are a couple of decent sized lakes near Raleigh, but I would like a large body of water in or near downtown so I could see it without making a special trip, and be able to swim, boat, or at least enjoy the view while dining/drinking. Basically have it more incorporated in everyday life.
I prefer the coast, but even a large lake or river would be great (see Chicago, Seattle, Baltimore, NOLA, etc.)

Turning lane on Jackson

100% agree with you. I am from that area and I will say that Lafayette traffic does not come close to BR traffic.

I'm not sure if that's better or worse than the Badger bar we go to here in Chicago....where instead of actually watching the game it's a social scene and people are just getting hammered. We pack em in but the vast majority have no clue what's going on (a big time game will change that, but for most it won't.)

but I'd even settle for Colorado climate. Just something where it's not so damn hot would be nice.
Idk about that. It gets cold in Colorado. And during the summer you have to worry about fires. It is hot there, but you don't sweat like Louisiana in the summer.
For me, turn the fricking pumps on before it floods, not after. Everything else I can deal with. The other issues would be similar in most urban areas either way.

I grew up in Cobb. Had no issues getting to the city on Marta for braves games or music midtown.
Took Marta to 03 LSU v UGA seccg, 05 LSU v UGA seccg, Miami peach bowl, LSU v Duke sweet 16, LSU v UT seccg, LSU v UNC for opening game, and 11 LSU v UGA seccg.

I would change the fact that I can't walk into Wal-Mart at 10 am on Tuesday and be 100% sure some a-hole won't hit me with a stray bullet meant for someone else.
