A true and full interstate loop around Baton Rouge that starts east of Lobdell, crosses the river at St. Gabe, passes through P-ville then runs up to Livingston where it meets its northern counterpart. 4 lanes each way.

I’m pretty sure I’d kill for Fairhopes real estate prices.

Is Fairhope like the Prarieville of Mobile?

Nah Fairhope is one of the more tolerable places in Alabama. But it’s cheap as hell compared to Boston.

Fairhope is sorta like the Madisonville of Mobile.

Fairhope is populated by old folks, milfs who got the house in the divorce and mass quantities of smug rednecks, who despite their upward mobility are less than one generation removed from Alabama white trash. And we know this because they still drink natty lite out of a frickin' can. Really, they do.

Boston has about a 10% greater CoL than my city. That's pretty expensive

I don’t think so.

Prairieville is like the Youngsville of Laffy

Fairhope I would say is more like Madisonville

Nothing you said really reminds me of Madisonville more than Prairieville

I live in Austin. Wouldn’t change a thing. 10 minutes from work, within an hour from 6 of the best lakes in the country. Tons of great restaurants and entertainment to choose from. I’m bored when I have to go on ‘vacation’.

I really like Austin and can’t wait to be down there next month for the LSU game, but this statement is dumb no matter where you live.
