One of Baton Rouge’s finest banned from numerous Walmart stores

A woman banned from five different Walmart stores in the Baton Rouge area is accused of stealing again from one of those stores in East Baton Rouge Parish. According to court documents, Elisha Lang, 39, of Baton Rouge, was arrested Sunday in connection with the theft of the Walmart on Sullivan Road in Central. The probable cause report stated a deputy with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office was working extra duty at the store when a worker notified him a woman was seen putting items in her purse and would not stop for the worker to check her purse. The PC indicated a check of Lang’s criminal history revealed she has been stopped for stealing from five Walmart locations on eight different occasions, including this one.
