So basically less than .04% (or something like that) of Covid patients end up dying from something other than Covid 6 months later.

Man I hate when publications do this clickbait shite.

Exactly, or heart failure. This may be a normal stat. Say if average age of admits is 70, likely 1 in 8 might die. Even without hospitalization at the median age of 75 what’s the likelihood that one out at eight will die in five months?

So is that 12.3% of the 29.4% readmitted? If so, that's ~3.62% of those readmitted. Not horribly surprising if the mean age is 65 years old.
Of course, it could just be written poorly.

If this is true, why are we still give vaccines out only during banking hours and there are supplies across the country (not earmarked for the 2nd shot) that are not being distributed around the clock?
