That there are 56,000 outstanding warrants are staggering. But is that truly 1 in 7 adults? 1 in 7 sounds about right if each warrant was for a different person, but I’d imagine plenty of the filthiest scum have multiple outstanding warrants. Probably (/hopefully) closer to 1 in 15.
