On the eve of the day of days

I often wonder if you’d have shown those boys, those men, the future of what they were fighting for, if they would have gone.

And wonder where we so lost our way that what is a woman or a man is even a question. The crime on the streets and the corruption in the seats of power.

These men who fought and died on those bloody sands get called “Nazis” today by little snot nosed antifa shits who’s biggest battle has been against hunger as they waited 10 extra minutes for mommy to bring them their chicken tendies.

I consider myself courageous, but these men/boys had brass ones. God bless those that fought that fight. To those that died in battle and those who lived and brought the battle home and lived with it for the rest of their lives.

My grandfather lost most of a leg during strafing by a German fighter. He’d be be none to happy with how things have regressed. Honestly glad he passed before LBTHIQ and sometimes y.

The mortality rate of those arriving on the beach was 90%. Pretty sobering.
