On a scale of 1 to 10 how dangerous is the revisionist history attempt of Mitch Landrieu?

It's opening up a can of that worms that could potentially disastrous for the city. He isn't representing the city of New Orleans, but only himself in this matter.

I do not support the confederacy, although I do believe both sides were egregiously wrong in the CW, and that slavery was a huge negative for the economic growth of the South.

The removal of the monuments set a dangerous precedent that cannot be undone.

I see people avoiding that city like the plague. You don't revise history, to control the message, or limit thought, without repercussions.

11, this is by far the greatest injustice that has ever taken place. It's the only thing that any of us should be concerned about for a long time.

I say 6. It would be worse if people actually had any actual appreciation or understanding of US History that could be compromised by such actions.

the first thing the nazis did was burn history books......then they put THEIR version of history in place....this is NO different....
