I live 5 miles from where the Liberian stayed. I am at .00001. Way more likely to be killed in a car wreck.

This.

And even where it is supposed to be bad in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone 7157 out of about 22 million people have been infected. 3330 of which have died. This is in countries that have much less sanitation, healthcare, and much more poverty than us.

I'd say chances are probably damn slim that anyone you know or have ever known will be directly affected by this. I'm hardly concerned at all.

Worried? No...I'm just hoping I didn't build my zombebolapocolypse fortress and buy all these fricking guns, crossbows and ninja stars for nothing.

Here is an exercise for you next time you are worried about it.

Do research on how many people Ebola has killed ever.

Then do research on how many people the flu kills yearly.

Now if ebola evolves and becomes airborne, I will elevate my fear rating.

It is pretty amazing when you think about it that something hasn't wiped all of us out by now. The universe is so incredibly hostile.

From a mathematical standpoint, the Earth is such an infinitely small part of the universe that it doesn't exist. Crazy.

It isn't like ctaching a cold or the flu. I would say 10-100. The 10 is for the unknown factor (something crazy may happen to me) Other wise it would likely be 2/3%

It's very different than those in just about every way imaginable.
