It's a really expensive powder that tastes like baking soda. You can usually buy it at music fests but it doesn't really work unless you pound beers and smoke a lot of pot.

a "disco biscuit" was a quaalude back in the 80's

A little late to this thread, but yeah pretty sure I used to see this girl work at Chilis a couple years ago. She wasn't half bad looking. Oh and she vaped too. So incase you didn't already think she was trashy enough...

She'll get 5 and do 30 months of that actual if she pleads guilty. has a good lawyer and favorable judge, and the victims family cooperates. Barring that, the table is unpredictable. I.e., 7-15 yrs.

Why would the family cooperate with a plea deal for less time for a 3 time DUI offender? I would spend so much time in that DA's face he would have to start charging me rent.

She obviously had no one in her life to talk any real sense into her. Should have never gone that far. Now her problem has cost someone else their life.

I doubt she comes from money, but some victims family will get money from the victim to not get in the DAs face.
Other folks don't have family who give a shite that they were killed.

And I completely support your view.
I hope the family is involved and gets maxed.
I'm just sharing my point of view as a former state and federal prosecutor with some disappointment with the system.

If she were someone from a prominent or wealthy family, possibly. Otherwise, I'd say she does at least 8 years in the steel and brick.

Agree. The naked facts appear pretty egregious. 8 -10 yrs. sounds reasonable.

Not even who I thought it was. Thought it was a bartender from the bowling alley but didn't even go edit

I respect that. And, as the other poster said, there are some who believe that taking money from an offender's family can at least improve the quality of life for the victims's family (being generous and assuming best intentions).
But I think that thread of thought is very shortsighted. First time I've considered this angle in the disparity of criminal sentences against wealthy vs poor (more accurate than race, IMHO).

She will also have a tox screen done while she is incarcerated right? Interesting to see if drugs show up in addition to her BAC

Kill the sorry bitch!!! She is a waste of space and air and deserves nothing less.

From her linkedin. She volunteered as a student leader with a community group from 2005 to 2008.

If only we had some real punishment for the first DWI. No sense that people get away with DWI/DUI so easily.
I know a woman who's had 2 or 3 and one with her little child in the vehicle. Nothing but wrist slaps. They took her driver's license and send her to class. Big Whoop.

Why would the victim's family cooperate?
The guard rail impaled him, severed his arm and killed him.
It's a horrific way to die and she deserves the maximum sentence particularly since it's her 3rd DWI in a year's time.
