Why? Her license is still suspended
License was suspended for a specific reason. You have to pay for a duplicate and you can pay for a state issued ID card if you need identification. It was all about subterfuge.

The Causeway's been trying for years to get the funding to redo the guardrails so people will stop going into the drink

You can just go and tell the DMV you want a new license if the suspension isn't in the computer yet. Really doesn't matter, because she would've driven anyway
Just another person slipping through the cracks.

Guard rails weren't meant to have 4,000 pounds of steel driven on them.

They have paid Texas A&M a fricking arse load of money to do studies on guard rails as well.
It's like the article was written to help get the funding for the Causeway to make it more safe although it's one of the safest stretches of road in the state.

didn't read the article on the arrest... just recall they've been trying

It's more about how the guard rail is supposed to break.

A Texas federal judge handed down a $663 million judgment Tuesday against Trinity Industries, the guardrail maker accused of producing a faulty product that can jam and spear through vehicles.
They are appealing that judgement.

She's fricked. Prayers to all the families involved, including hers. None of them will ever be the same.
It's interesting how your perspective changes when you have kids. I'm all for any measure that will keep my kids safe. Like breathalyzers in every vehicle. Is there a lobby group(Detroit, alcohol) that would vehemently oppose this? I know I would have up until my kids were born.
Also, she looks like Janice from Friends.

The Causeway is loaded with money. They just want someone else to pay for it.
Yet another reason I don't wear a seat belt. That dude could've ditched it while riding the rails.

I did some rails off your mom's arse last night.

Based on pics posted here today, she looks like she had a lot of potential for a normal and fulfilling life up until December of 2016. This morning's decision to drive drunk has completely fricked her for the rest of it, however.

I haven't seen any pics of her where she's holding a drink or appears to be intoxicated.

This morning's decision? She probably drove home drunk over that bridge at least once per week for over a year.
