Nevermind the names in Ole Miss are legit, there is a Lagathia Caradine, they probably pulled the name to try give it some legitimacy

I went down a little hazing death rabbit hole. Crazy the amount of water intoxication listed.
And of course this isn't only on frats. Bands, sororities, free masons, un sanctioned clubs, occupational hazing deaths.

Yeah and I get down voted because the only arrest record I can find is listed on that blog and he was arrested in 2020.

Dude I can’t find myself on the White Pages. I just tried and I don’t pop up. That’s not conclusive evidence, especially since during my pledgeship they were extremely restrictive on my social media account. They had us basically purge our accounts, vow not to make posts during pledgeship, and this was in 2006 right when that just got started like 2 years before. Given how big it is today, I’d be shocked if even good fraternities didn’t force their pledges to purge their social media accounts simply not to be associated with anything retarded they said in 9th grade. I’m sure social media is a big conversation piece in modern fraternities, as it should be for the sake of their own members and the fraternity itself not getting destroyed.

I think when people are quick to defend the frats today they fail to see that kids often have a poorer grasp of when they are crossing the line than "we" did. They grew up watching YT and TikTok they have been inundated with people doing ever-increasing stupid shite for likes and subs. Add to that a lot of them were sheltered and never felt the pain of doing the milder stupid shite and they get let loose with no idea how to edit their actions. This isn't limited to just frats though.

Yeah, thinking the DM through... it’s only gotten much worse since we were there. A weirdo I went to high school with regularly wrote articles on why homosexuality should be completely illegal and gays should be prosecuted for them simply for the ratings, but yeah no question these days he’d either be chased off campus or expelled for his opinions.
I really don’t think any person who went to Ole Miss would be taking these allegations seriously if the Pikes weren’t the accused, but if this is completely false, as much as I personally despised that fraternity I think they should sue this guy, and I think most of the Greek system would have their support for maybe the first time in decades.

Maybe it's a hoax. Maybe the Pikes were able to keep it quiet. Pikes always seemed pretty connected to me. I know they expelled them from USM for a while, after they stole flamingos from the zoo and maimed them to the point that they were euthanized. A few years later, though, they were back in their same old house and it even looks like they built some kind of addition to it. Save the whales, frick the flamingos? (The TKEs will frick the whales and save the flamingos, I guess.
