My response basically equated drunkenness to the biological failings of weak willed men.

I was drunk and in bed by 9:30. But someone drove me home and they brought me through the Taco Bell drive thru so overall its a win.

John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

We should all look in the mirror:

The long and short God created us for relationship. We tarnished the relationship. He gave us a pass so now we have relationship once again. He then committed to us this message.

Again, I'm the worst of sinners! You don't have to look very far to see how short I fall of who God has called me to be. One day I may turn back from my selfish desire to feed the flesh. I have not yet longed for what the pigs eat but know my ways seperate me from all that God has. Until that day I take refuge in his truth.

Romans 3:3-4 What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness? 4 Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar.

Romans 8:33-39 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one.
