I was a distant friend of his (friend of a friend). This dude was a beast, 7' 375+ pounds (probably taller and heavier).
His brother, Adam, played at LSU.

Just wondering if he was still around BR.

I talked to him last when we beat Ohio St in NOLA for the Natl Championship. We were drinking and tailgating before the game.

That's all i got.

A friend from way way back. Alive and doing well.
And constantly polluting my Facebook with his goings on.

Good people.

I remember him from way back when he used to work the door at The Tiger. I was there the night when Kent Cashio (5'10") KO'd Zuke w/ about 4 punches.

Yeah, right. I don't think Zuke has ever been in a fight because he is so huge. No one would frick with him. He was a bouncer because he would simply grab them and pull them out.

That's a name I haven't heard in a long time. May be the biggest man I have ever seen.

Had to block him in HS. It was more like, hit him before he got out of a stance and just stay in his way. Guy was huge.

I got 2 Zuke stories from back in the day:

I used to work the door at the Happy Note. And one night he was going to leave with a drink and asked me "can I leave with this?"
I looked at him and said "can I stop you?"

A friend of mine was a waiter at a BR restaurant and Zuke and his gf came in to eat. He ordered 2 entrees and my buddy turned to the gf and said "and for you maam?" Turns out Zuke was ordering for both of them.

Knew him back in the day when going to the Tiger every weekend was a thing.

He was funny as hell. I remember him using a pitcher for beer and it looked like a mug in his hand.
