There's a good market for quality vintage hats. The same applies for real, vintage/antique fedoras; not those stupid Trilby hats that everyone calls fedora, now. The better the type of felt, the more expensive they get.

You are probably outhitting this. Garage sales are just a way of throwing stuff away without the guilt of being wasteful. Price the hats at $10 bucks apiece and call it a day.
If you are really worried about it, do reaearch and sell them on eBay if there is any value to them

Yea- whether he’s in Texas with a common head size and good taster in hats vs Pittsburgh with an off size and poor taste could make this yard sale pricing differ a huge amount

Stetson hats can be in the hundreds of dollars easily I would do some research before letting them go for $10 at a yard sale

6?!?! I don’t think the make hats in that size - must have been 6-3/4 or something like that.
